| Introduction |
The prestigious Hong Yin Zhai center, A century–old store which produces traditional Chinese instruments was established by the Wu family during the later Qing dynasty in Beijing. Its production technique originated from the imperial court of Art of the Qing Dynasty. Since the first generation’s founder, Baylor Qirui Wu, it has experienced five generations of stewardship, spanning over 100 years. In 2011, the production technique of the Hong Yin Zhai was added to the national cultural heritage list.
At present, the Hong Yin Zhai Wu family wind instrument has become the first brand of Chinese wind instrument that is famous all over the world.
